Are you familiar with USAction?
I just saw their name in print recently in NY Times article about networks which won't run their ads against Bush's "Tort Reform."

There is a USAction about page here:

But do you know more about them, like how long has USAction been around and where does most of their support come from?

1. USAction
is a part of the USAction Election Fund headed up by Jeff Blum whom I don't know a whole lot about. As far as I know it's only been around since early 2004.

In turn, USAction is a member of the Section 527 group America Votes, a loose coalition of liberal and progressive groups that formed to encourage voter registration, education and participation. It's headed up by Nancy Pelosi and Cecile Roberts (a former top Pelosi aide).

Disinfopedia has a page on them that has a little more than what I just paraphrased here.
