Search of Donald Rumsfeld’s Office Turns Up $8.8 Billion
Over the last couple of weeks, the Bush administration and their corporate media shills have been forced to admit that Seymour Hersh is (yet again) correct in his insistence that Donald Rumsfeld has successfully built a secret intelligence agency which is already engaged in black ops within Iran.

But the corporate media continue to avoid asking the obvious questions.

For instance, how could one possibly build a secret army without the knowledge and oversight of Congress? More to the point, where in the world could Donald Rumsfeld, without the oversight of Congress, come up with enough money to build his secret, fascist Neocon army?

It’s not so difficult to figure out, is it? All we have to do is see if anybody has recently misplaced billions of American taxpayer dollars. Like Bob Woodward’s ‘Deep Throat’ taught us thirty years ago, just “follow the money.”

And -- wouldn’t you know it -- the inspector general’s office is now reporting that the Coalition Provisional Authority in Iraq has not been able to “account for” $8.8 billion in American taxpayer dollars.

The only missing piece of the puzzle is that which the corporate media will use to convince us that two plus two equals zero.

2. Did the gov. say you could say this?Check out BBC news today
Just where is this money they are spending coming from? First I read Bush gave 88 Million to his faith base people now I read it is a Billion plus and now this.He also upped the 25 Million for bin Larden to 50 Million. Maine could use some of this money. Did Congress just turn over the tax department to Bush to take the money or what? Where are the Republicans in Congress and where are the Dem. I do not hear them say a thing but for Sanders.

you must think that "the obvious" is important to the media whores.

Well...actually...it may be. But when your receiving manila envelopes stuffed with cash...all of a sudden it's, "Hey...who gives two shits about what is right?".

7. The media whores are too busy babbling about Michael Jackson
I switched all of 'em off this morning.
It was nauseating and I wasn't getting any news past the weather, anyway.
I suggest EVERYONE (especially you Nielsen families among us) switch of the TVs everytime Jackson comes on. Everytime.
I wish I was a Nielsen family.

9. He's been skimming from Pentagon budget since 2002

By PAUL DE LA GARZA, Times Staff Writer
Published October 2, 2003

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TAMPA - Pentagon officials are investigating allegations of a second case of the Special Operations Command at MacDill Air Force Base hiding millions of dollars from Congress in its budget.

The latest allegation, Pentagon officials confirmed Wednesday, involves $25-million that Special Operations listed in its fiscal year 2004 budget, which took effect Wednesday.

Pentagon investigators already had been conducting an audit, or a preliminary investigation, into how Special Operations - at the Pentagon's request - inflated budget proposals in fiscal year 2003 to "park," or hide, $20-million from Congress.

The plan, the documents show, called for the Special Operations Command, which oversees the nation's secret commandos, to pad its proposed budget so the money could be used later by the Pentagon for some other purpose.
