I'm mainly concerned with this trend toward trying and convicting suspects in the Press. Secondarily, the prosecutor in this case clearly has a grudge against Jackson. But in law, you're supposed to bring charges based on evidence, not intuition or "my gut".

As for Jackson, he can take care of himself. But the idea that millions of people already have him tried, convicted and judged by God Almighty is just a little bit frightening.

he's not the monster I think he probably is. If he is I hope he's convicted. I find it hard to stomach that there is no rush to protect the children. I dare say that if you or I (joe public) were indicted on these charges that child protective services would be all over us until an aquittal. I know innocent until proven guilty but it doesn't harm anything to have some supervision and err on the side of safety for a child.
