Bush is Hitler and we are the Maginot Line
He wants to destroy us, the middle class, and everything in his path.
The blitzkrieg has started, and we have the same old gang of future Vichy Democrats in charge of the defense.

"Conservatism is the dark black. The destroyer of Liberty and justice. Fear, greed, hatred and ignorance are the four horsemen of conservatism. Welcome the dark ages again friends unless these maniacs are repulsed."

1. Bush isn't Hitler.
Hitler could give a competent speech.

Even among monsters, Georgie is inferior.

11. Yes, but the real President
is not. He is frighteningly competent and very, very dangerous because he practices unimpeded by the oversight placed on George the Stupid.

4. if Bush is Hitler, we shouldn't be acting like the Maginot line--
easy to get around and completely vulnerable once surrounded.

we should be like the Russian winter, slowing and overpowering those who'd be so arrogant to ignore us.

6. Elwood, that is hyperbole.
Bush hasn't begun the eugenics program yet so you can let Hitler stand alone for one more day.

Personally, I would say: * is a fascist and we are corporate slaves. There's lots of evidence to back up that argument.

I think I understand where you're coming from though. These days can be pretty damn dark sometimes. :hi:

12. An agent of Sauron perhaps
I'm not so sure hitler is correct. He is just a puppet. (bush), and
sauron is behind and away from public observation, merely rather
bush is the mouth of sauron.

If you want a historic analogy, i really think that bush is more like
a middle ages pope. He has his cult-church and actively excommunicates
all who dissent with the church. His cult does not endorse science,
or empirical views, and rather publishes its own rhetoric about how
the world works.

As well, i think its "pope innocent I" who planted the seeds of western
antisemitism, like he is planting the seeds of western anti-islamism
in this current time... that with historical trending, we can expect
a mass extermination of muslims by the his church and its descendents.

Unlike hitler, bush veils himself in the rhetoric of piousness, and
forgives himself based on his divine right, that he is gods agent on
earth. This is very very pope-like of him. Give the bastard a ring
and he'd make a law that we all must kiss it or be disenfranchised.

16. If we are the Maginot Line, then we're in big trouble...
...because Hitler destroyed that in a week.

I would rather think of us as the allies, with supplies flowing in from all fronts, rallying for freedom, and overwhelming with truth and dignity.

(How was that for platitudes?)

18. That is technically correct.
After going around, they went in to the revetments and destroyed them.

It was like trying to defend a Juggernaut from a submarine.
