Is everyone else as tired as I am of hearing every politician mention
values whenever they speak now? No matter what party, it's just ridiculous.

1. Oh God, I'm sick of it.
Not just politicians... every media host, reporter, pundit, and columnist.

It's been brought up before, but I already have liberal outrage fatigue, and this second term has only begun.

2. Yes: Some freak GOP talking point and everyone is saying it.
Some freak asks a couple fo bible thumpers who voted for Bush and suddenly its THEIR values that matter.

3. Let's put it this way.
The problem is when people talk about values as good things to have. They aren't articulating or fighting for WHAT they value.

Newt Gingrinch used to be a big fan of ideas. He didn't have any himself: He wasn't backing anybody elses: he just thought that ideas were always a good thing to have.

Now its values.

4. Correct. Gonzolez apparently "values" torture,
but I'm not so sure that's a value worth having.

5. "Family Values" is a meaningless phrase, used by meaningless
people as a way of justifying their meaningless politics.

Feel free to quote me.

8. Don't worry this value talk will end soon
Becuase people will start talking about money - or lack of it.
