I'll read the text later. I can still get mad and wonder about the stupidity of it all without having to watch him for the whole time. The only part that makes me almost want to watch is to see which Dems stand up and applaud when. That will be a very good indicator of who is true to the Dems and who is not. Remember that great year when Ted Kennedy hardly stood up at all, especially when W mentioned NCLB? That was great! But I don't think I can stomach this.

17. There's Plenty To Watch Elsewhere

Lately I've been catching up on my History Channel as checking into Discovery-Times, BBC America, WorldNews International and the local PBS Station (the Jack Johnson & Broadway programs are excellent).

I'm done watching the same talking heads talk to the same other talking heads saying the same old pile and propaganda. I've gotten away from this circle jerk and get what I need by scanning the posts around here. They can live in a parallel universe of lying and denial, but I refuse to give them any credibility.

The SOTU is over-rated...it's a feel-good speech that rarely leads to any major change. This is just another free 4-hour commercial for the Repugnican party.
