Did anyone hear that nutcase caller challenge Ed Schultz to a fight. today
This guy started out by saying that he thought Ed played football too long without a helmet. He goes on to say the Democratic party is going to be perminently ruined because of Howard Dean. Schultz stated his case well as always and the guy just lost it.

3. Funny you should say that.
Ed came on after the commercial break and said the guy must have been the blue collar (the gut erects stone walls) equivalent to Zell Miller.

2. Any place where I could hear this?
That sounds hilarious - classic wingnuttery - the slightest challenge causes them to totally lose it!

5. Who did he think he was talking to? Harry Reid.
Reid said he is prepared "to go behind the pool hall and see who wins this one."

and Ed then got a few calls from the Lefties who wanted to get in first licks with that rightwing wuss..that was funny. Eddie's back is covered.

and then again, just as a highlight to his show: he had on Dennis Kucinich, a spokesperson from rawstory, Tom Harkin, Deb Stabenow, and others, and today his show opened up on one of the largest Left radio channels in California ( don't remember the call #) , so listen up.

he's on a roll.

13. He doesn't hide the fact he's a former righty
It still comes out a little every now and them, until his wife hits him upside the head, I can imagine. It seems Wendy converted him.

I've grown very fond of Ed. He has good "guests" and lots of caller time. Good energy. And the righies are listening to his show. Would love to see him get show on cable. He handles O'Lielly pretty well.

14. I've never been a righty, but there was a time back in the '80's

when I was a total Reagan fan. You know, Reagan, Reagan, rah-rah-rah. If it helps you picture it, I was an awkward, antisocial loser at the time. The Repukes were just better at waving the flag and proclaiming themselves "real patriots" and "restoring America's pride" and all that happy horseshit. So I voted for Bush Sr. twice. :(

Anyway, I got my head on straight and embraced my inner lefty. I proudly proclaim myself LIBERAL TILL I DIE!

Having said that, sometimes I'm not sure if I trust Ed Schultz; but on the other hand, you can only really appreciate the intergalactic carnival freak-show that IS the right-wing in this country if you've seen it from the inside.

I listen to Ed with a small measure of that distrust, but if he is sincere (and there's no fanatic like the convert) then I'm happy he's on our side.
