Why is it...
When the sh** hits the fan in Iraq and their is outrage democrats are told to acknowledge the fact that the war is a long road we're going down and bla bla bla ad nausuem.

When one single good day arises out of the whole murderous mess, we are expected to formally present our apologies to the Bush administration and the pundits to cheerlead their agenda?

2. What was so good about it?
Other than it wasn't a total bloodbath. Seriously, what has improved, what has even changed, for that matter, as a result of this "election". It is pretty telling that no one seems to care who won.

4. Well put
That is what baffles me the most. Just from what I read at Scarborough Country, or even the call-ins on C-SPAN radio, it seems that the fact that the US launched a stupdenous, unsustainable security effort to provide for one day of nearly car-bomb free voting is absolute proof that Bush's admin was vindicated in forcing this god-awful war on the world, especially the tens of thousands of dead Iraqi civilians that didn't get to vote.
