My Uncle's Rant on SS and the Right as seen in an email from him

"Our social security is under attack by the same people who lied about WMD's in Iraq. It's interesting to know the lies they are now spreading to fulfill they're agenda. And for anyone who thinks social security is an "entitlement program" (as the "Bushies" want you to think) just look at your payroll check...how many "entitlement" programs are being deducted from your pay....NONE! We have all paid into this system with the promise we would have some financial benefits when we retire. There are two problems with social security...1. the politicians can't keep their grubby little hands out of it in order to fund their political programs and 2. there is an income level "ceiling" which basically means the person making 500k a year pays the same as a person making 100k a year. And don't tell me rich people don't draw social security because even Ronald Reagan was drawing it when he was president...and rightly so! You want to "fix" social security - remove the ceiling and ban the politicians from "borrowing" from the social security fund. It doesn't take a genius to figure this stuff out (as the politicians want you to believe they are), just someone who doesn't have a hidden agenda about a new world order! I apoligize for the rant but it pisses me off when I'm lied to. - Jack
