I was busy setting up my brand new "puter". Gave me an excuse not to watch the monkey.

Did he start with his usual "pro-life" rhetoric? Did he throw Dobson, Falwell and Robertson a bone?

1. Told Egypt and Syria to toe the line

else new fronts will be opened by spring.

2. He promised to ban cloning, stop developing new lines of

embyronic stem cell research and the biggie: to get a constituional
amendement to ban gay marriage.

Are you serious, was he that much worse than predicted?

4. Because we all know that gays are ruining the state

of marriage in this country. ; )


I have to admit this is the first SOTU speech that I have missed in nearly 20 years.

Is it really so easy to lie and be believed by so many...so willingly?

5. Yep, I have never missed the state of the union speech, for 40 years,

till now, and now, why bother?
