after I voted and saw what it said. I still think it looks crazily lopsided in our 50/50 country. Then again, maybe SS is the one thing that will make America wake up. We can always hope!

I guess the poll "closed" before those anti-Bush votes came in. The poll is gone now, and the story reads:

Immediately after the speech, CBS News polled a scientific sample of viewers who gave their answers over an Internet connection. The poll found an overwhelming majority, 80 percent, said they approved of the president's proposals.

and it's 2:04am est Feb 3rd and 91.03% oppose. I'm listening to the Al Franken repeat and he earlier in the show was talking about how now BushCo are changing the words of everything with SS. It's now no longer in "crisis" but has "serious problems" because most of America doesn't want private accounts. Mainpulating again. Just like with Iraq, eh? :grr: They also changed what they're calling the accounts, but I can't remember what they're calling it now. Doy.
