Bush dishing out the cool aid :::: SOTU address
The man is out of control....he is wrecking the Nation...

10 trillion in debt is too much...we are heading in that direction.

We now at 7.5 T in the hole and in 4 years will be over the 10 trillion dollar mark. Bush is taking us down a rough road.
The misery index will rise dramatically.

2. SOTU-Bush's high water mark
I think things will start to deteriorate quickly for Bush. The Social Security scam won't work-another thread talks about the 'investment' garbage will actually steal money from you (invest $1000 a year for 40 years, the government keeps 80%-you wind up getting half your money back). People are not volunteering for the military, and those already in (and their families) are feeling the pain. Either Bush will destroy our military or institute a draft-either one will be a disaster. The economic pigeons will soon come home to roost-a deteriorating dollar will lead to inflation, more layoffs, etc. Pretty soon Bush can scream "family values" or "faith based initiatives" all he wants, and it won't do any good. He will be seen for what he is - the worst president ever.

4. I hope you're right
I want Bush and Company to be seen for what they really are by everyone, not just those who didn't vote for him. I sometimes get sick thinking about the future, because of what Bush has done to this nation.

5. Your wording "SS scam" is perfect.
The SS scam, if enacted, will go down as the greatest financial swindle in history.

8. hmmmm playing on 'Murica's fear, greed and selfishness
a Bu$h tradition.

Every time he said something he KNEW was bullshit he'd smirk and laugh as the crowd rose to their feet. Even more appalling was Cheney who seemed to try NOT to burst out laughing when Bu$h was talking about alternative energy.

Playing people for fools and winning.
