States Rights
Considering that we have been effectively shut out of the federal government, I believe that it is time we use the state governments of states we control to defy and overturn Bush's policies, at least on a smaller scale. If we do this systemetically, then we will be able to preserve at least part of the country and be able to use that to take back the rest. Furthermore, if the GOP wants to squawk about it, then we can throw their rhetoric about "smaller government" right back in their faces. We can create a new revolution this way.

1. An excellent idea,
only what makes you think the Repukes won't go even further with it. The reason, in the past, the progressives have been against state's rights is because it was used to block our liberal policies. What has changed that makes you think that won't continue to happen?

I doubt, seriously, that the GOP will raise many objections to state's rights.

But, hey, we've got to try something, and I like this idea.
