The stop Dean movement is not getting off of the ground and time is running out for the DLC/Professional Election Losers wing of the party. This is in contrast to the Iowa and New Hampshire campaigns of last year when the anti-Dean movement was gaining a lot more traction by December of 2003. It ain't over yet, but I like where we are right now.

One more thing. Kerry's easrly concession, merited or not, alienated a lot of left-liberal, otherwise Nader leaning voters who grudgingly cast their ballots for the Democratic nominee. These voters, many of whom are DUers, should take the Dean selection as a sign that the Democrats are prepared to stand up and fight this Administration.

Who knows what back-room politicing has been going on. I hope Dean gets it, but I will remain skeptical till I start seeing RESULTS in the party and move away from this weak-ass concession-ism that has become a beltway democrat mantra.
