Leiberman, Clinton, Bush and hypocracy.....
Does anyone remember the holier than thou speech Lieberman gave in the senate condemning Clinton for his reckless behavior in the Lewinsky mess? So righteous he was in his rhetorical attack.

Now we come to another President. Well, it seems that this president can lie to get us into a war, approve torture, and a myridad of other indefensible crimes against this nation, and what do we have? A love fest. Either his morals have gones down the drain or he never really had any.

1. i do remember the speech lieberman gave in the senate ripping his shirt
open with mea culpas about clinton's liaison with lewinsky. i also recall calling his senate office and telling them that it was not lieberman's business what clinton did with his private life ... a point the people on the other side of the phone never seemed to comprehend much less mr. moral righteousness himself... and yes.. i think lieberman never really had any morality.

3. You know, that helps to remind me that joe has ALWAYS been a traitor.
I was furious with both his vote and his little Bushsucking speech today but this places it in perspective! I should have expected him to do just this!

4. I think what he was really upset about
was the threat to what he thought was his own great achievement, i.e., the DLC.
