Aside from the Kurds and the Shia being aligned with IRAN; apart from the SCIRI (al Sistani's IRANIAN party) winning some 72% of the votes so far, is the little not-talked-about rule for the writing of Iraq's Constitution, which is suppoed to be written by this August...

It only takes 3 provinces to overrule the Constitution, requiring another be written.

The Sunnis are the majority...in 3 provinces.

One decade later:

"I'm getting a NO here."

3. Of COURSE Bushco would fix the system or the election itself...

They want control of Iraq, not anything resembling real freedom.

They're total idiots, yes, but even total idiots would have to realize that true democracy in Iraq would result in a Shi'ite majority and probably an Iranian style religious government.

So, the fix was in making things RESEMBLE democracy and yet have it yield predictable results usable by tha cabal.
