The Lowdown

We just got an invitation to subscribe to The Lowdown from Jim Hightower. Is anybody familiar with this publication and would it be worth our $10?

1. I subscribe to it and I read it instantly each time it arrives. The short

articles along the sides are the same ones that appear in the "Progressive Populist" newspaper. The main articles in each issue appear to me to be unique to the Lowdown. I think everyone should subscribe to the Lowdown as a way to support Jim Hightower, who I feel is one of the best progressive "colyumnists" in the country. His writing style is entertaining and he explains the complex issues in a way that even * could understand them. For this reason alone (supporting Jim Hightower) it is worth the $10, not to mention the entertainment and information you get out of it.
