Is anyone aware of the rise in gas prices again?
Today I noticed my tank was almost on empty so got gas at a local station, we went from 1.65 to 1.98 a gallon.

19. I am more away of how people are paying the prices without a whimper.
We are all brow-beaten by this administration. We don't even protest when they tightn the screws. Oil company PROFITS are at an all-time high and still the government doesn't care that we are being gouged.

5. Just pee in the tank, according to another thread.
I may not have that exactly right, but it was something along that line.

12. Where is there?
I don't drive that much, so I don't pay that much attention to gas prices, but I noticed that it has recently popped up above $2 here. It had been below it.

11. Yeah, I was kinda bummed this last week - bounced back up to $1.87 reg.
I hope it's just a temporary spike - I'm getting tired of this. Funny how many fewer SUV tanks I see in the parking lot at work - must be getting painful for some people - we all know how milage goes down (here in cold climates) by about 10-15% in the wintertime.

16. To the contrary
It seems every time insurgents damage a wellhead or pipeline in Iraq, commodity traders bid the oil futures up, regardless of actual impact on supply.

15. wasn't there some discussion awhile back around election time
that the oil companies had done a study and found that $2.00 (there abouts anyway) a gallon was the breaking point at which time the public would start to revolt against high oil prices?

Record breaking oil company profits and a free market - (Kidding!, well about the free market part anyway!)
