Sometimes it is good to get one's news from the Daily Show

even if it is a day later. Thus, it was only earlier this evening that I watched Bush grabbing Lieberman's head - a la Joey Tribianni - and give him a kiss.

What was that all about? Has Lieberman said anything after that? What did he do to deserve this? This time last year Lieberman wanted Bush's job!

1. Why do you think Gore wanted him as VP? Appeals to the right....

but puts him in a position where he doesn't actually DO anything except bang a gavel in Senate meetings.

*sigh* I still think Al is one of they smartest politicians we ever had, too bad his personality was not "home-spun" enough. Kerry is almost as smart, if not just as smart. I would love to see a Gore/Kerry ticket or a Kerry/Gore ticket.

Either way, I think they may be the only ones who can get us out of the mess that BUllSHit got us into!

2. Unfortunately, smart and intelligence don't cut it

The voters want simpleton who can be "charming" and slap their backs and speak in a simple vocabulary, use simple black and white terms and not challenge them to - gasp - think.
