Snoop Dog On Larry King?????
Edited on Fri Feb-04-05 09:48 PM by DistressedAmerican
I had seen it advertised and forgotten all about it. Then I was surfing and I see the strangest, most dichotomous duo I've ever seen on a screen. Snoop dog wearing a doo rag and fur coat next to Larry King who I affectionately refer to as the "Crypt Keeper"! It made the right and left sides of my rain conflict. I'm surprised I didn't have a seizure!

It was so odd I tried to get a digital screen shot but, I was too late. Please let me know if anyone has a still! It was hysterical.

Another note on Larry: Ever notice that every interview is billed as " (fill in the blank)'s first interview since (X event)". Sometimes he has to add modifiers such as first "prime time" or "primetime television". In this case, it was Snoop Dog's first primetime interview since rape allegations were made against him. Once I noticed it, I hear it EVERY single time I see an add. Does he really think this gives him a scoop or something?

1. Snoop Dogg is the ultimate sell out...
He appears at every commercial break on every channel.

2. I'd sell myself for the kind of money he is making!
Besides, "sellout" implies he somehow changed with time. He was always about maximum exposure for the bucks. No change there.

Not like, for example U2 who early totally abandoned political lyrics for the pop stardom sellout.

3. Sell out ? ....
Opportunist yes .... sell out ? ... Hmmmmmm ....

I dont even like rap (very much), but Snoop's style is quite smooth and has good crossover appeal to white alternative rockers like me ... He has always been that way ...

Perhaps he takes financial advantage of his fame a bit too often .... perhaps .... I still think his music is very cool .... he hasnt changed that ....

12. That sort of implies he's rebelled against the establishment.
I mean, he's always rebelled against The Man. But it's not the same thing as a punk band that goes on to sell their big hits for beer commercials.

7. sniff doggy doo doo peddles filth to children....and tries to buy a
belated respectability by giving free uniforms to his kids' sports teams. that money is blood money from his ruination of the planet.

now there is something the black churches oughta be doing something about instead of glorifying their own criminals.
