I don't think it's telling the truth, I think it's telling the truth that doesn't gibe with their political beliefs. But the key is that the number one priority is political not truth-based.

Sure. Entities within the media who act in defense of the people's interests (apparently, a Socialist concept), rather than catering directly to dominant corporate interests, have always been considered "liberal" by right-wingers who see things only in shades of politics and competition.

Question a Republican administration - fall out of lockstep, and they've already painted you as a member of the opposition party. Reason, to them, cannot exist without political loyalty.

5. If you ever listen to the people who call into c-span...

it becomes clear that if someone says something that doesn't jibe with the right/fundie line, they claim "liberal bias." They have this deluded idea that what they think is the "fair and balanced" perspective and everything else is "liberal bias." It's really quite astounding.
