I am feeling better about Dean's chances as DNC chair.

I am glad to see that Howard Dean is getting the endorsements he is getting. This is the right man for the job. A week or so ago, I was a little concerned but I am more happier now since he got the nod from the UAW, as well as state Democratic chairs. This will be a threshold moment for the Democrats and, I hope, the end of the influence of the DLC. The DLC's heyday was during Clinton's time but the 90's are over and it's time for a change in the party and a return to "The Party of The People" not "The Party of Corporate Interests" (Republican Lite Party).

Although I would have rather had him as President of the USA, chair of the DNC might take our party where it belongs, if the DLCers don't throw too much at him to derail him. I did tell the DNC that they couldn't expect any contributions from me if anyone else but Dean were selected. I think if a majority of Democrats did this, he would be our guy.

6. He's certainly got reason enough

The DLC supplied that cherrypicked video and audio from his isolation mike to the networks, who were only too happy to show any Democrat looking out of control. The DLC torpedoed his campaign, and I sincerely hope it's payback time.

Those hacks need to GO. I hope Dean is able and willing to do a thorough housecleaning.
