2. I'm not a fan
I'm an adult and hope they continue what they are doing and don't let the USA destroy their freedom, their democracy and the social justice they're about to establish. And I truly hope, Chavez isn't as naive as Allende and fights back against the capitalist terror without illusions.

Solidarity from Germany,
Dirk

3. Yes..Viva Chavez
And he is just one of many to begin the stand against the USA..he recently said that if the USA does attack Iran, that it will be seen as an attack on Venezuela. I am sure that China is of the same opinion. The leaders of the world are turning against American tyrany..and they are bonding together in their stand. Recently, Chavez stated in a speech that not only was Condi Rice illiterate, but that apparently she dreams of him...it is just beginning...this banding together against the evil giant that is the USA.

5. What so ironic is that if it hadn't been for Bush's total incompetence
and concentrating the US's military power in Iraq Venezuela and Spain may not have had a chance to move to the Left.

6. Are you serious about Spain????
there still was enough time left to topple Aristide...
But do you really believe, Bush would have invaded Spain?
Are you sure, you really know the difference between Chavez, Lula and Aznar?

7. Are you sure your head is out of your ass?
Who the fuck ever said anything about the US "invading" Spain?

There are many ways of influencing things. :eyes:

Who can argue with a guy who works for the poor. He was elected by the people and is now working for them. That is how it should be all over the world.

8. Col. Chavez Is Indeed A Capital Fellow, Sir
And a Liberal in the oldest political definition of the term, when it was a fighting creed of modernization against feudal oligarchy in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

10. Chavez is NOT a liberal...
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 05:18 AM by arcos
He's more of a socialist...

Remember the US is one of the only places where liberalism is left wing...

11. And I see nothing wrong with that. Look at what the "capitalists" have
done to the world and this country!

Chaves: "Freedom and liberty without equality and justice is not good."
