I do, all the time. I am told I come off as very conservative, even though on the political compass I am socially the Dalai Lama, and economically, Pope John Paul II. In other words, a left wing libertarian, but nowhere close to being a full blown anarchist. The very opposite of a conservative

I'm moderately liberal, and it shows though I don't see this in myself. Everyone else does though and I thank them each for noticing.

I refuse to be a slave to what other's think of me, much less what they say to me. I'm liberal in that I strive to remain open-minded, unbias, care for each and every person's right to live as they wish, as long as they do no harm, love the environment, respect all animals and after this last election I really feel more like a global human then American.

Maybe, if I can peer towards D.C. and see true honest leaders again, then and only then will I have any faith. Till then... Buck Fush & Co.

for myself, I am a white, heterosexual, protestant male who dresses conservatively and is an active church-goer.

If I wasn't young, and in college, I would fit the profile of a Bush voter to perfection.

I used to wear a military uniform when I was in Navy ROTC a few years ago. I am also a professional pilot, which is also stereotypically conservative. As soon as I open my mouth to debate something, they know I am the exact opposite. I love it.

17. Sometimes when I'm teaching...

I try so hard not to indoctrinate and be fair and test all assumptions, even the ones I agree with. If I happen to have a left leaning class I find myself spending half the time making conservative arguments and then wondering if I'm going to hell forever. I did have one student (who was failing because he was a poor arguer) complain on the evaluation form that I was a Republican. Whoop. :-)
