Christian School Principal Molests Children.
Why are the sex stories concerning Preists the only ones considered worthy of national attention?

Ex-principal charged with sexual contact with former student
Detroit Free Press, MI - Feb 3, 2005
PLYMOUTH, Mich. (AP) -- The former principal at a private school in suburban Detroit was charged with having sexual contact with a former student. ...

ONE FRIGGIN HIT!

But it was not your source, it was the Detroit Free Press (probably the source).

Suggest you keep an eye on this, google every hour or so to see if more outlets pick it up.

5. I bet not.
Bush is the first president to win the whitehouse due to the protestant evangelical vote.

Many fundamentalist protestant evangelicals dislike Catholics. They compete for souls and tithes you see.

Bush evangelicals aggressively try to convert people of different faiths. To them, the rest are heathens.

I doubt that any criticism of the evangelical protestant community will be allowed. The media is skewed in favor of the rodents beliefs.

2. Because of the added taint of hypocracy
Religious institutions are supposed to be bastions of morallity. Thus the taint of hypocracy gives the media something extra to toss into the mill to grind a bit more.

4. And these public education employees
that raid our pockets "for the children"?

Hypocrisy is right.

17. Exactly
It was supposed to be "moral values" that won Bush the election and that he's a Christian and all these scandals coming out. I, personally, finding it humerous (and also sick).

3. Living near NYC
it is incredible how many children are molested in that city's public school system (by administrators, teachers, maintenance men, etc.) without ever making the mainstream media. While the Church's actions are indefensible, so are these.

Look at the double standard applied to that Mary Kay LaTourneau; what man would have been released from prison so quickly after molesting an 11 year old?

What man would have been released so quickly after doing it again?

8. They are attacking the Catholics.
It does not serve their pupose to document abuses by other groups.

I am not a Catholic, it just seems that their "crimes" have reached the scandal threshold that the Monica Romp did. And, she was a consenting adult .... not a child.

It seems politically motivated to me.

10. The difference between schools and the priests
is that the priests covered it up schools didn't. The case you site for example the school turned her in they didn't send her to some other state.

12. The scale of it in schools is covered up
as it is anywhere else but the Church (as far as the media is concerned).

20. I think we are discussing the overall lack
of media attention. It is rare that any criminal act commited by a born-again-christian goes beyond local or state news.

It gives people the false opinion that the protestants are somehow different, when the incidence of child molesters is probably just as high in both communities.

Canton Township Ex-principal faces hearing in sex charges
A Feb. 11 preliminary exam has been scheduled for former Agape Christian Academy principal Clark Sexton. Sexton, a 30-year-old Westland resident, was charged with criminal sexual conduct for incidents stemming from 1999-2001, police said. Sexton pleaded not guilty and a $30,000 bond was set. Sexton left Agape in 2004.

18. I don't know personally
He looks really young. But there was a teacher not long ago who had a court case for sleeping with one of her students (middle school age I'd say). She looked like she was in her late teen years.

15. Because both RevMoon AND Bob Jones HATE CATHOLICS and want
to see Catholicism forbidden.

The Pope is too much much of a pain in the rulers' asses. He isn't a reliable rubberstamp for the fascists.
