shithead of the decade: Newt--hard to argue with that.....he made the congressional takeover possible (read the seminal New Yorker article about his rise), which, in turn impeached Clinton, which, in turn, set the stage for ETERNAL character assassination of the dems, which set the stage for Election Theft 2000 (Bush never would have gotten close enough to Gore to steal it without the never ending LIES spewed forth, and willingly swallowed by the media)

my only quibble with rackjite's list: no mention of the media's overwhelming role in the ending of democracy over the last ten years.
They, more than the pugs, even, are responsible. Pugs, like sharks, scorpions, tsetse flies, etc., just do what they do. the Media have a choice, and they CHOOSE to support fascism.
