Dear Messrs. Okrent and Bovino:

Aren't you worried that in order to pay your rent, you are going down in history as collaborators?

"The decision not to let people know this story could affect the history of the United States."

Sincerely,

(They are the Ombudsmen at the NYTimes, which suppressed the story on Bulgegate.)

"Facts can only be raised as issues when it doesn't matter. You'd think that the most important time to bring up new facts would be during an election, but no, that would be 'springing something' 'political.'"

1. Thank you for emailing them, and for
also giving us the contact information we need to do the same. Everyone reading this should do that, and get others to do the same, so that we flood their offices and MAKE them pay attention. As many of us as possible should write LTTE at the Times. They likely won't be published, but they'll get some idea of the terrible mistake they made. I'll probably start mine with "Dear Judases."

Many people who voted for * did so out of fear and not because they really wanted to; I know many * voters who are feeling really shaky about their vote right now. That's evident in his current approval ratings, they're lower than what a justt-sworn-in second-term prez should have, especially in war-time.

2. They are both rude, unprofessional idiots.

I have written letters to them, and their responses have been as described above. I wrote a note to executive publisher of the NYTimes telling him what low standards the NYTimes has for hiring people if those two are the best they can do for Ombudsmen.
