Whats the latest on Cheney and the secret energy task force meetings?
Did he ever release the documents he was ordered to?

1. Of course not
In fact, the last I heard word of this was in mid-January and it said he was still "on trial" at that time.
If you Google it, you get nada.

2. Last week the judges were reviewing the case

and chastised Sierra for doubting Cheney's word when Cheney signed a document that everyone in the meeting was on the up and up.

They have not ruled on the case, but it does not look good.

3. I thought the supreme court ruled he did not need to turn them over?
apparently the case is still pending and they haven't yet released a decision? Or is this a separate ruling?

5. They are in appeals court right now
See this article which basically says the judges are reviewing and are leaning toward Cheney

http://www.forbes.com/home/feeds/ap/2005/01/28/ap1789457.html

There has been no mention in the news since that article.

6. We haven't forgotten in California! No Way!
OMG...we're waiting to see how this plays out! The whole west coast is on it! Washington State, Oregon and California...not to mention the Canadians! Cheney is a fucking coward! They all are. They talk about the "boldness" of this administration! Bullshit- they are chicken-shit bandits who take unprecedented steps to protect THEMSELVES! They can only bully you if you allow them to!

Energy task force.

Unfunded no child left behind program.

Tax cuts which changed a short term mild recession into a long term nightmare.

Enron.

August 6th PDB.

Unresolved Anthrax attack.

Non-existant WMDs.

The "Either With Us Against Us" Uniter, not divider.

Bush AWOL from TANG.

Swiftboat lies.

Patriot Act reduction of liberties.

Pushing for Patriot Act II for more of the same.

Resistance to investigation of events of 9/11.

Failure to plan for Post War Iraq.

Overly optimistic estimation of Iraq War difficulties and costs, in spite of opinions offered by experts.

Blatant homophobic bigotry disguised as "Defense of Marriage."

Blatant lies.

Obvious misleading statements.

Repeated inability to speak straight to the public.

Intimidation of the Press.

Abu Gharib torture.

Hundreds of people locked away with no outside contact, and without stated charges, for YEARS.

What was the problem again?

8. Hey, this is Super Bowl weekend. Did you have to bring that up?
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 05:54 PM by SpiralHawk
What kind of American are you anyway?

Why don't you all just move along. There's nothing to see here.

Remember, Big BushCo loves you. You CAN trust Big BushCo.

Further, there is every likelihood that ChocoRations will be increased 2 mg. per Citizen Homelander Unit (CHU) sometime during Big Busher's next 4 years. That's some great news (potentially).

So shut the f*ck up, sit down, and watch the game before the boys from Homeland Security drop by to "interview" you.
