Hello again. Thanks for the huge listener numbers last week. Largest audience we've ever had except for the week after the election.

We're going to have a lively program tonight. Dr. Max Sawicky, an economist at the Economic Policy Institute will be our guest. He is an expert on the Federal Budget, Federal tax policy, and Sate and local tax spending issues, Public finance, and Privatization. What he doesn't know about the Social Security issue isn't worth knowing.

He has worked in the Office of State and Local Finance of the U.S. Treasury Department and the U.S.Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations. He also serves on the at-large national board of the Americans for Democratic Action.

You may call with questions for him if you like. He'll be on at 7:30 Eastern time.

We're going to roast a couple of Democrats who voted with Gonzalas and Rice. One of them is my own Senator, Bill Nelson who refused an invitation to appear on the show tonight. I'll work for the defeat of any Democrat who backed those two.

The feed still sounds a bit "grainy" I can't get them to fix it properly. Too many Republicans around here:)

We'll start the show at 7pm Hey guys, how about lots of calls this evening. We're experiencing something weird with the show. Our listenership is way up and our calls are way down. Doesn't make sense. The syndication people love to hear lots of calls. It shows them the host is exciting the listeners and they like that a lot.

I have an array of filters here that might improve matters, but which are far more likely to make things worse, so I'd never cut them in live.

Checking in reasonably early, and glad to report that I can hear the show today. My low volume last week turned out to be thanks to my son, who reset the sound system when he visited for a couple of days, so he could stay up late on my computer without waking me up.

I've got it loud, but not clear; some static. But great to be here, and able to "hear."

How do you measure the size the audience? By web-streaming hits? How do you know how many are listening on radio? Don't get to involved in answering I am only curious.
