Capital Gang: Did Al Hunt get promoted; Mark Shields demoted?

I'm watching it now with "the full gang" and Al's the host and Mark Shields is sitting in Hunt's old seat. Is this a permanent change?

That's too bad if true - I like Shields best.

Shields has been getting pretty uppity with the producer(Bob Novak) lately.

4. i saw that too, and wondered the same thing -- i also recall a long time

ago, Al Hunt had the lead seat and Mark Shields did not --- the there must have been a coup d'etat of sorts and Mark Shields got the lead seat and Al Hunt occupied the seat he had for these many years. Don't know if there was another revolutionary coup d'etat among them again!

I think it's a positive move to shift them around after a couple years.
