... I have as much chance of winning the presidency as Hillary Clinton does. NY is not representative of the nation, and the RW shit machine would go into hyperdrive were she nominated.

I sure hope she doesn't have her heart set on that because in addition to the fact that she could never get elected because of her (not all justified) baggage, she's done absolutely nothing to deserve it either.

I'd probably back the Socialist Candidate or the Green candidate before I'd back either of those two.

I'm working inside the Dem party to get a focus on WINNING candidates, not more of the same old stuff. If that lesson can't be learned then I'll have to abandon ship because I don't think our nation can take more GOP domination.

I'm not jumping on you, personally, (or anyone on here) but the Dem party has GOT to look for some new blood if we ever want to advance. Part of our problem had been lackluster candidates (and by that I mean people without appeal to the general public.)

Bill Clinton was elected twice-and part of the reason for that was he was running smart campaigns and he was attractive with his message and demeanor. I don't mean to lessen Mrs. Clinton--but that IS how she is seen by most of the nation. She's part and parcel of the Clinton era, and as much as we liked it, it ain't getting re-elected.

Gore is another whole discussion...
