mysterious sounds emanating from the grave of franklin delano rosevelt are under investigation by park officials. a park visitor who had stopped to say a prayer at the graveside and who originally heard the sounds and alerted park rangers said the sounds had sounded like an old broken record. mystified park rangers drove a highly sophisticated mike into the ground near the grave. the sounds were muted at first but became louder and louder on the highly sensitive speakers. in the beginning the sounds were unintelligible and sounded as if someone had put an old recording of the famous "a date that will live in infamy speech." however there were clear anomalies. the bystander that had heard the original sounds pressed his ear close to the speakers and told us that he could identify the sounds and that they had become clear. he said loudly and clearly in a voice freakily like that of fdr, as if he were under some sort of hypnotic trance "november 4th, he boomed, two thousand and four, a date which will live in infamy" at this point the rangers now under orders from nsa quickly hustled the bystander off to a waiting van and the nsa who had been notified and appeared in helicopters, sealed off the area and closed it off to all visitors and confiscated all listening and recording devises. it has been learned that the bystander was classified as a terrorist and an enemy of the state and it is believed he has been sent off to guantanamo bay for polite questioning and some r and r. the nsa quickly explained to bystanders that it appeared to be an old recording of the famous speech that was buried with fdr in a kind of time capsule that must have been activated by the man himself turning in his grave.
