I dated a rabid Winger once. He was really cute, fairly intelligent and liked older women, which was why I was intitially attracted to him. But he was so ANGRY all the time. He'd call me and rant and rave all the time. It was very tiresome. Here was a guy who *should* have had alot going for him (good education, intelligence and good looks) but he spent more time grousing than kissing.

BTW, he always seemed to hook up with liberals because, in his words, they were sexier. I used to tell him to find a girl who was more into his ideology but he said he got bored with them. Go figure.

When I went to Texas, the women I saw there were a lot hotter than the ones here in Seattle. They were all in much better shape. They were thinner, looked more cheerful, and were overall more attractive. Of course, I was only in Housten and San Antonio, so I'm not sure if those areas are as conservative as the rest of Texas. I know that urban areas tend to be liberal, and that Austin is almost as liberal as Seattle.

for many women. My daughter won't even consider a date with a Republican. She's 21. I had one young man complain to me that she wouldn't go to dinner with him because when he asked her out, she didn't like his T-shirt's message" Kill All The Liberals.
I told him to take a look at the bumper stickers on her car and get a clue. He still didn't see her politics as a dealbreaker. She did.
Personally, I've always found liberal men to be much sexier.
I've tried to tell the frustrated young men I work with why women won't go out with them. At least, not the women they're interested in....the most desirable women. It's their politics. The young women are turned off. They don't want to spend time with guys who are channeling Sean Hannity. They just don't get it.
