Are you guys listening to Michael Kinsley on Franken?
They're talking about Social Security. Normally not a funny subject, but he has this dry humor that is cracking me up.

3. I love Kinsley's style.
In fact, I've had a crush on him since about 1991.

I think he's the Michael O'Donoghue of political observations.

4. I like his story about how Bush's solution to SS is like a person in the
desert with no water and Bush shows up and says "here, you need lemonade" and gives the person the powder and says "now all you need to do is add water". Although Bush's solution makes it worse because he would actually take away some of the water the person in the desert has left.

7. I know but what Bush is doing is making the problem worse not better
by taking some of the funds that are left out of the system.

8. I was driving my wife to work
and she is one of these "serious 1960's liberals" who over intellectualizes -- and thinks Randi and Big Ed are kinda gross (although she agrees politically).

But she was cracking up.

She now agrees with me -- no Al Gore or Ross Perot "Powerpoints" (and she is a Power Point person) -- we go after Social InSecurity Piratization with Karen Ignagni "Harry and Louise" ads -- like a dealer and a craps table rolling the dice with Social InSecurity.
