Hey Dean...boycott FOX!!!!!

IMO, I believe it's time for ALL Dem congressmen/women...Dem pundits...Dem strategists...Dem Senators...Dem actors...ALL OF US...to quit appearing on Fox News.

Why allow them to appear credible by appearing on their fake shows?

Let's cause a ruckus with DNC chairman Dean. Fox news has got to be stopped...now! When they request our presense, our reply should be.."Thanks, but no thanks, my high morals do not allow for my participation in propaganda."

while being interviewed by someone from Fox that he would not give them any information about the DNC chairmanship because they are a Bush propaganda tool and he would not want to give them any legitimacy???

I agree - every single Dem should refuse to go on any Fox show, citing that since it is clearly a Bush propaganda channel, like the Soviet government channels, they cannot get a fair hearing anyway.

I wish they would ALL do this!!!

Gov. Dean Takes on FOX News
As communications director for Gov. Dean and Democracy for America, it's my job to monitor all the news. Needless to say, I usually don't watch FOX News and I know most of you don't either—but, you should tune in tonight because Gov. Dean is going to be on.

The interview was taped this morning in Washington, DC before Gov. Dean departed for Burlington and will air tonight on FOX News at 9:45 p.m. It will also air on Alan Colmes' radio show across the country at 10:00 p.m.

Gov. Dean even takes on FOX News in the interview—let's see if they leave that bit in or edit it out.

Push our smartest folks on them. Make it public knowledge that Faux seeks out mostly weak or communication-challenged Dems and Libs. Call them all day long offering our best and brightest for any subject.

My gut says boycott. My brain says send good people on to kick their asses!

brain says - fight and kick their ass.

If we are going to run and fight in all 50 states for all govt. seats, we need to state our case on all outlets. We need some very effective spokespeople. Lockhart is always good but he may be getting his own show (or something) on CNN.

There are a lot of people who just watch Faux.

Lord help me, in March I will be going to my In-laws for a week (Spring Break in Florida) and they watch Faux constantly. We NEVER discuss politics anymore.

prominent Dem's, particularly the one's that keep showing up there, and urge them to refuse future appearances. I really like this idea!!!
If there isn't anyone on their show to bully, they'll sit around arguing with each other, or have to talk straight at the camera just spouting off their ridiculous pundit b.s. which will make it even more obvious they have nothing to do with news.

There are many people out there that are ignorant and watch fox like it's real news. We need people to challenge their smear. Like it or not they are out there and have many viewers who watch and spread lies.

It's like the Post. I'm a NYer and I see many people with the Post....many people I know buy it for page six and sports. It is important to try to stop propaganda in any way.

I like the idea of sending General Clark on Fox to talk about the military. Give the Dems exposure to the Faux News viewers in ways they'll come out sounding positive. Send them in to talk about what they're indisputable experts on.

On the other hand, I think we should stop sending people to the shows that are all about screaming at each other. No more Scarborough-like shows for any Democrats. Nothing good comes of them.

Therefore, we should choose our shows carefully, but not boycott a given network.

Sorry to say, but we can not win on facts. To do so would require a discerning audience. To "win" on the teevee one has to comport oneself in much the same way as a WWF "rassler" calling out the villain du jour.

I would love nothing more than to see every Dem "Just Say No" to RW teevee.

In my opinion CNN is worse than Fox because CNN has credibility with a lot of people. There's only a handful of people out there dumb enough to think Fox is actually news but CNN is just as full of it as Fox but they carry a lot more weight with a lot of people. I say stay off all major media. They will scramble to get them back because they know that if there is a complete Dem blackout they loose all of their (completely undeserved) credibility.

It givess them credibility! Their viewers see every guest agreeing with the ideas they broadcast. That would be a very foolish mistake! We need MORE exposure on FOX and every other media outlet. That's the way you get your messages out; get people to listen and say gee that makes sense.
