1. "Freedom don't come for free" - does that mean they are pro-taxes?
They are right - freedom is not free. Neither is civilization.

Roads, public schools, clean air, pure water, law enforcement, fire protection, and the military all cost money. Those are things we could not have without federal income tax revenues.

These people are so odd - they love to say things like "freedom don't come for free", but when it comes time to actually PAY for it, they get all anti-tax and anti-government.

2. This is good news!
Dumbass Bush never backs off his "proposals". We know that. Literally everyone in the country can be screaming "No, George, don't invade that country" or "No, George, don't do that", and it never matters--he and his cronies just go right ahead with whatever it is, and that's all she wrote. He's done this time and again.

So, with that in mind, we know he won't give up his "amnesty" program. But these people look like THEY'RE not going to give up, either. So the result has to be a clash of some sort. Remember, I'm sure the majority of these border vigilantes were Bush supporters. So if these guys actually have any success pushing back border jumpers, then eventually Bush will have to turn the forces of their own U.S. government against them! And if you thought these types were outraged and homicidal over Waco, or Randy Weaver, just wait till U.S. government law enforcement does ANYTHING to them! Their anger will be turned against THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION. Can't wait!

3. So your opinion is that these vigilantes are the gungho go hunt and
shootdown people...like the ones that have money and would pay a cool mil to go shoot people? Like the recruiting device I heard used on young recruits?

4. Oh, I don't think they're setting out to
SHOOT any illegal immigrants. But they will certainly have their firearms when they do their "patrols". And that's a recipe for trouble--even if they had the best of intentions. (I think some of them are sincere, but I think others of them might indeed be thug types.)

I think of these guys as sort of like some of the dreaded "militia" types that we were all told to fear during the McVeigh/Oklahoma City period. Bush may find he bit off more than he can chew when he solicited the votes/good will of these people. Heh. Good--let them start "patrolling" outside his candy-ass ranch!

6. Check this out
"I am beginning to sense panic in the open borders loons. The Minuteman Project, with its hundreds of volunteers armed with video cameras and American Border Patrol with its next generation UAVs is about to shine a very big light on Federal Failures here on the border.

Hit Shrubya with an immigration question and you get that blink-blink-stammer-stammer reaction while the "Family values don't stop at the Rio Grande" sound bite spools up to speed in his head. Send that transplanted Connecticutt Yankee down here to the real border. His ranch in Crawford is as far away from the border as the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas. I get this real heavy flashback of Thurston Howell III with his "Good heavens! A Yale man!"

I guess the graffiti is really on the wall now -- semi-literate in both English and Spanish. Those of us who live along the border are just acceptable collateral damage. We continue to repair the vandalism and damage to our properties, clean up the mess the illegal aliens leave in their path, have our privacy and safety invaded on a daily and nightly basis, and occasionally bury friends and neighbors who had the bad karma to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

But, hey, who gives a phlying phuque? As long as people in the interior get cheap lettuce, cheap lawn care, and (most importantly) cheap slave labor, who cares?"

The above is a post from a forum which is home to both right and left posters. The post was definitely NOT made by a democrat! Yet--look at the contempt the poster shows for "Shrubya".

They say that when your enemy starts to come apart, you should move out of the way and just watch the fun. I really think that since neither faction of the repukelicans will give an inch on this border issue, we might just get a chance to watch their foul party split apart! At least, that's what I fervently hope.

5. To put out a fire you start at the base of the flame

AIM... Aim low, pointing the extinguisher nozzle (or its horn or hose) at the base of the fire.

A fine of $10,000 a day for each instance of an undocumented worker being employed at any business would make short order of it all. This whole crock of shit is just another race bait fight to keep the troops busy while the other hands steal from the cookie jar

8. No I don't think it's a bait and switch...The place is really having some
problems...of course it is not going to work... but bushitler doesn't know how to make a plan to put a penney in a gumdrop machine, so we are going to see more and more of people taking things into their own hands...just wondering about these people...
