Any news on Jeremy Hinzman?

Has Canadian Immigration come back with a ruling yet on his case. He is the soldier who served a tour in Afghanistan and was scheduled for deployment to Iraq, but he slipped into Canada before he was scheduled to leave.

two US military guys (including jeremy i believe) were on a toronto radio show called 'international connection' a couple weeks ago...unfortunately, i missed the show that week, but will try find out what's going on with the case. if a negative ruling came down it would undoubtedly be real nasty news, as Vietnam era draft resisters are today solid members of the canadian establishment, especially the media. i think you can be assured that the responsible authorities are, for various reasons, benignly neglecting any hurried decision....btw 'international connection' has some incredible clips of stuff people might be interested in:
