2. Any Idea About The Past Ones...
I think it was Frontline that reported on the scams involving Indian tribes and GOOP "lawyer"/consultant/fixers. One tribe funneled several million that wormed its way into GOOP Congressional pockets...yet I never saw or heard any more on this one.

But then exploiting minorities is what makes the Repugnicans the wonderful people they are.

3. Oh No! If Ralph Reed is involved, that might be a problem...
...in regard to his run for Georgia Lt. Governor in 2006

I don't want to repeat here, what's already in a DU thread I started here:

4. I just can't wait for this one. Good old Ralph. He's such a nice guy.
(sarcasm off). n/t

Ralph needs to go down along with all the rest. I promise not though, to hold my breath. The last four years have taught me well.

8. Ralph Reed's connection
Apparently this article did not mention the Ralph Reed connection. Here it is on another page of the 2 page spread on AZ Republic's Sunday edition. The main two lobbyists Jack Abramoff and Michael Scanlon paid Ralph Reed more than 4 million to mobilize religious factions and apply anti-gambling pressure to close an El Paso Texas tribes casino. Within days of the casinos closing, Abramoff and Scanlon turned coat and persuaded the tribe to hire them to try and get it reopened. Their attempt to add an obscure amendment to an unrelated bill failed.

On the afternoon of Monday Feb. 11 2002 Ralph Reed writes to Abramoff in an email titled "Texas":
Major victory...but note they plan a legislative battle now that the have lost in courts.
(Reed attaches an AP story titled "Tigua casino set to close barring Supreme Court stay.")
At 8:03 pm.,Abramoff responds to Reed's email:
...I wish those moronic Tiguas were smarter in their political contributions. I'd love us to get our mitts on that moolah!!Oh well stupids folks get wiped out...

10. Remember that Roger Stone fellow?
the fellow who supposedly forged Bush's Tang documents that got CBS in trouble. He was all tied up in this Indian Gaming thing too.

Interesting article from the Village Voice last year with info about Reed and Stones involvement.
