Is the Freedom that Bush talks about only applicable if you toe the
line he and his religious fundamentalists and rightwing diehards lay down for us? Does anyone care who has sex with whom? Or does anyone care whether you pray in private or jump up and down at Jimmy Swaggart's revivals? And what is it with family values? Does Ann Coulter have them? Or Newt? Or Neil? Or Jeb's Attorney General?

For a party that says that government interference in private affairs should not be tolerated, the Republicans have odd notions about interfering in people's private affairs. A better exazmple of insanity can hardly be found.

1. Orwell would shudder that Bush/Rove use "1984" as a textbook
Slavery is Freedom. War is Peace. Hate is Love.

Their abuse of the English language is enough to make one gag, as in retch, because what they mean by "freedom" has more to do with gag orders than with the First Amendment.

2. Family values is only a term the repukes are using to hook the sheep
bu$h's form of freedom is forcing his beliefs on others.
He is not looking out for the values of America or those that were sought after by the founding fathers. They want to force the same oppression on the American people that the colonist fled Europe for in the 17th century.
Isn't it amazing that we have become what our fore fathers fled and what they fled has evolved to what they founded here over 200 years ago?
The only interference the repukes are against is that which lifts people up or catches them when they fall. Forcing morals is now considered a government function by the repukes who are in control of this country. They are not leading, they are controlling.
