Bush: the poor, the sick, and veterans must tighten their belts
for the sake of fiscal discipline.

The rich should get more tax cuts.

-paraphrase of David Sirota on the radio today, as a guest on "The Al Franken Show."

3. Matthew 25:40-45
40“The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

41“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45“He will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

6. Only if God doesn't want Jesus to have healthcare coverage.
If that's the case, maybe God really is a Republican after all.

8. Evil,...Bush and the GOP are simply evil...
We have got to find a way to stop this madness. And to think of the older poorer veterans--who have suffered the indignities of the staff shortages, budget and staff cuts in the VA medical system--watching the news and seeing that the republicans just don't care and want to beat them up even more.

Shameful. And I just feel sick about it. And Bush's approval is on the upswing?

7. Typical Mepublican greed which is,
"I got mine, screw you." And "What's mine is mine and what's yours is mine also." Honestly, is anyone surprised by the ** budget? How else was he gonna pay for the greed piggies' tax bonus'? And are any of these greed pig rich a$$holes whether Dem or Repug giving back their ill gotten tax breaks? I doubt it, which shows how much they aren't concerned for those less fortunate then themselves. As if? :eyes:
