MLK could've been the first African American president
I think if he were still alive he could've been the first African American president. That would've been so awesome.

1. Why else would he have been assassinated?
Had Bobby Kennedy and MLK lived, the world would be an extremely different place today. Neo-Conservatism would never have happened.

The Left would have never become marginalized.

That's why these men were murdered.

3. Conflict perspective of society
Those in power do what they need to protect that power.
That's why I will never be 100% certain that Bush didn't LIHOP or MIHOP.

6. LIHOP = let it happen on purpose | MIHOP = made it happen on purpose
It's a reference to 9/11, of whether bush let it happen or made it happen.

7. Sorry, I forget that those terms are basically dead here
Haven't seen them used for a while... forget that some people weren't around for their discussion.

4. Don't even mainstream historians see who benefited from assassinations?
JFK
RFK
Malcom X
MLK
George Wallace

The common thread is they all were a threat to the right either by being liberal and popular (first four) or draining racists away from Nixon's Southern strategy (Wallace).

I read in the paper the other day that some hypnotism expert at Columbia is willing to testify Sirhan Sirhan was hypnotized to get near Bobby and fire a gun, and I've read some weird shit from primary docs on how far CIA and Pentagon mind control experiments got.

When is this stuff going to leak out the realm of whispers into public consciousness?

9. Doubt it.
Even today there are too many racists to elect him.

And if Ray hadn't shot him, somebody else would have.

10. Unfortunately, I think you're giving the American masses too much credit.
He'd be 76 years old this year and we saw in the 2004 election, the American people apparently cannot cope with: strong women and anyone running for president that is not a white, protestant male.
