After serious criticism from the Electronic Intifada, numerous civil rights groups, and concerned citizens, the San Francisco and Washington Examiner newspapers agreed to remove highly controversial advertisements depicting Palestinian children as terrorists.

However, the ads were also displayed in several public transportation (known as the 'Metro') stations in the Washington, DC area.

they got to lose? How about their corrupt leaders whose policies are largely responsible for their conditions? They've taken billions in aid and not built anything of worth. They blew up the Oslo agreements when they thought it suited them. Then they broke the relative peace after President Clinton's plan wasn't enough for Arafat.

But the leaders sure have nice villas in Europe. Arafat even owned a bowling alley in Manhattan. I wonder how many nice bowling alleys there are in Gaza.

While many blacks willingly dress in total hip hop style I think most blacks would be offended if the ad featured a well dressed white guy on one side labled home and a hip hop dressed black guy on the other labeled homey. This strikes me as about as bad.
