Super Bowl Ads (back story)
GoDaddy.com purchased 2 ads to be run on FOX TV during the Super Bowl.

If you recall the ad, it was the one set up to look like C-Span covering a Congressional Committee meeting with a busty brunette describing her role in selling dot com addresses when the strap on her shirt breaks loose.

She catches the strap with her hand by cupping her breast making sure that the geezers on the committee get an eyeful of cleavage. Some of the elderly members of the committee have to be put on oxygen to prevent themselves from slipping off into a coma due to all the blood rushing from the head on their shoulders to the head in their pants.

Remarks are made to the busty babe to the effect "your upsetting the committee"....

Well, the offices of the NFL seen the ad and immediately called FOX TV and told them to pull their second ad and prevent it from being shown.

The ads were approved ahead of time by FOX. There was a vetting process and apparently GoDaddy.com met all their criteria before being told by the NFL to can the second ad.

2. May be the NFL doesn't want to 'offend' Congress.
The teams want to maintain their monopoly protections and get the nod on all the taxpayer funded stadia.

The commercial did have the steamy babe, but the real take-away is the image of Congress as a bunch of sick, sordid and horny old turds -- which in the majority is the truth.
