Wingers Can't Stop the Rising Tide of Contempt for Bush
Bush is a pompous jerk, and he's on his way to becoming a laughing stock in America. He's already a laughing stock throughout most of the world, but right wingers' loyalty has prevented that from happening here.

But right wingers can't stem the tide forever. If there's one more overseas fiasco, or one more string of implausible lies, TV and night club audiences will start to snicker at the mention of Bush's name. Johnny Carson used to make jokes about Bush Senior - it was a regular part of his monologue. Being a jerk must run in the Bush family.

9. Their nukes scare me less than ours.
I haven't heard NK talking about bunker busters, neither have I heard them float the idea of "limited use" like we heard from some of our own military in Afghanistan.

10. Much as I like to denounce Bush as crazy
Kim Jong Il is the REAL deal.

And the safeguards that our democratic system (although beaten down by Republicans) contain makes our nuclear capacity FAR less frightening than that of North Korea's

A totalitarian regime with a nuclear arsenal is scary. Kim Jong Il being the one in complete control of that arsenal is TERRIFYING.

6. What's really bad
is that even in my part of Texas (suburban Dallas), people who detest bush are more and more open about it.

I don't care what anyone thinks of my opinion of him and I don't hesitate for one second to let anyone and everyone know I hate his policies.

I've noticed that more and more people around here seem to be doing the same thing. The number of anti-bush stickers on cars is outstripping the number of "W" stickers and that's pretty amazing for around here.

The back of my car says "BUSH LIES, PEOPLE DIE. HOW MANY LIES CAN YOU TAKE?"

I got a guy laughing and giving me a big thumbs up today. Then the guy driving did the same thing. Two Hispanic guys. They rolled down their window and yelled "BUSH IS SHIT!" I laughed so hard.

7. Did America finally get it's collective brain back?
The problem I have is that the media treats all of us like we are idiots and they spoon feed us lies and bullshit. The thing is that they get away with it because a lot of people truly are stupid. And it would have been nice if this tide of disdain reared its head a year ago in the way that you are saying.

The problem is that I don't know if I believe it yet. It just doesn't seem like it is there yet.

11. I do not think it will happen soon. For one reason---
and I do not understand this, they do not seem to mind if their children may have to give their lives for some GD thing this President wants.I can not believe that 'to do and die' seems to be so big with these people.I can not see one good reason for it in Iraq or Iran for sure.
