Then and Now.... Warning!!!! GRAPHIC, GRAPHIC, GRAPHIC.
Not much difference between then and now... except there was no war going on in Iraq as there was in Vietnam....

So many young men, never to see their homes again, pawns in a game, political fame, empire dreams, faceless screams....

2. This is an odd thing to bring up but I once read this---
In WW2 the President felt we were not with it enough so they let Life Mag. put in pictures of dead GI's on a beach and these pictures had never been put out before. It did the trick. Have we now become hard to death and hurting people so these pictures do not get to people? Or maybe it is because they are not American's.

come from www.undermars.com page 56??... I didn't find this exact pic, but if you have the stomach, and you had better be sure that you do... scan through page 50----60. This was almost too much for me to witness, but these guys are giving us a view that you won't get anywhere else. These shots are from our own boys... I don't know how any of them come back sane. Perhaps many of them aren't.

7. thanks for the link...
sadly this is the only way the real story in Iraq will be told. We have no media anymore. It will be up to those brave enough to tell the real stories when they return.

:(

8. Thanks for the link, it is an amazing site, photos of our soldiers, kids
really, goofing around, and the scenery, architecture, etc., mixed in with dismembered legs and worse. http://www.undermars.com/gallery56.html like you say... Remind me again what * is saying this month about why the hell we went into Iraq again?
