I know there's been a lot of Gannon posts...
...and I think it's great. This sleazebag has links to Rathergate, the Plame outing, lots of other admin. agitprop.

This is not a story we should allow to be eclipsed, because it points to one of this administration's biggest weak points, Karl Rove. Why is Karl Rove a weak point? Americans don't like being played like Rubes, but seemingly all and sundry agree that this is exactly what Rove does.

This needs to be laid on the administration's doorstep for all to see.

The Administration has demonstrated that they will do ANYTHING to spin and manipulate the public, including planting reporters, paying off columnists, faking news and even violating federal law (outing a CIA agent). This investigation is IMO just scratching at the surface of a very deep, very nasty operation.

The BSM has made it clear that it will stand clear of this sort of anti-administration kind of investigating, but DU wades right in. Obviously DU has a lot of influence, else Howard Dean wouldn't be about to assume his role and Gannon never would have been outed. Furthermore, serious posts on DU eventually get picked up by the BSM and run as stories for all to see.

So keep the heat on, DUers. Keep connecting the dots. The picture is getting clearer, and it's a monkey clinging to a pile of excrement.

3. "Americans don't like being played like Rubes"
I completely disagree with that statement. How do you explain 50 million votes for BushCo? Apparently half of America LOVES being played like rubes.. However, I do agree with the rest of your post.
