I think a lot of the right wing's military fetishism is actually repressed homosexuality.

The tale of Gannon just brought ti all home. Remember the creepy neighbor in 'American Beauty' - the military fetishist who got off on watching Reagan movies?

I think we should start calling them military fetishists, cuz that's what they are...

I'm the wife of a vet, but the overglorification of militarism in this country has always bothered me. It has gotten FAR worse under bush, more than I've ever seen.

We have had rampant nationalism and militaristic worship before (think WWI) but it's especially disturbing now and because I would have thought, by the 21st century, we would have evolved a bit further.

Are you currently residing in the Bozone? I last visited over a year ago (during late September/early October when both the flowers and the College Women are in bloom) and as always loved it.

It is nice to see Montana regaining it's sanity as if the Old USA was still a country, especially while the rest of the Bushevik Imperial Provinces are actually regressing FURTHER towards Mississippi 1940s.

Montanas are people like nowhere else, and may be one of the last few places where the Old American Free and Independant Spirit resides.

It is almost gone everywhere else in Modern Bushistan, Imperial Amerika.

The first woman in the House was from Montana - Jeanette Rankin - and she was an avowed pacifist too - opposed our entry into WWI.

Now that we have a Dem gov and a Dem legislature Montana is truly a paradise - just gotta get rid of Burns next.
