David Brock was just on CourtTV with Catherine Crier
talking about the Gannon story.

Catherine used to be a reporter at CNN, and she is agahst.

The headline/banner read: White House Reporter Scandal.

David was his usual thorough self, and Catherine let him talk uninterrupted.

Overall, very positive, hard-hitting.

1. Thanks for the report
Isn't it awful that doing their jobs has to be the news?

3. And unfortunately I think we
have all of those prerequisites now. It is no longer something that can or could happen, it has.

4. Catherine Crier
She used to have a morning interview show on CNN called "Crier & Company." This was around 1992, 1993. It was a half hour show and she always interviewed 3 women about politics, issues, etc. It was sort of a woman's show, being that 1992 was "the year of the woman" in congress with a big influx of women, and Catherine Crier used her CNN show to give women pundits, policy makers, legislators and journalists a voice. She also co-hosted "Inside Politics" with Bernie (and maybe Wolf, too, at the time (can't quite remember).

She was a great interviewer, had interesting guests and asked good questions. She left sometime in 1993 (if I am remembering correctly) and went to 20/20. For whatever reasons, she didn't get much air time there. I lost track of her after that until about a year ago I saw she was on Court TV. I don't watch Court TV but I have a fond and positive memory of Catherine Crier. I am glad to hear that she did a good interview with David Brock.

5. I love her. She kicks ass.
I remember when that dumbass shock jock slaughtered that pig at a function and she had him on there and tore his ass up so bad he walked off of the show.

I think that once journalists realize there may be light at the end of this tunnel they will start being journalists again.
