Many uber-idiotic conservatives courted Bush to the White House--almost solely on their desire to ban gay marriage.

Now, BushCo is running from the issue.

I love this!!!!

What strikes me as particularly hilarious, is that when Bush drops the issue--out of the woodwork the conservangelists seep. Did anyone see Larry King Live the other night--when he had a panel of these religious wacknuts? They were displeased with Bush's lack of action on the "gay issue" and they were demanding Bush's attention on this issue, as if they had clout. As if Bush cared!!!

Of course, a few days later, during his SOTU speech, Bush paid lip service to the issue, saying that he'll preserve the sanctity of marriage.

Oh heavens!!! I'm dyin ova here!!!

Bush hasn't mentioned hating gays or gay people desecrating the sacred bond of marriage, so I'm sure it's a matter of days before the conservangelists start up their fireworks again!!
