Sorry, yet another Gannon post....
I watched KO's interview with a journalist (can't recall name) who's talked with Gannon several times since Monday. He stated that at one point, Gannon "openly wept" because he's being treated so unfairly.

OPENLY WEPT!!! Now who really believes that?

1. More importantly, who cares if we hurt his feelings? I've been openly...

weeping at what has been done to my country since these liars and manipulators took control.

Does he feel it is o.k. to underhandedly manipulate the trust of the American people?

2. Just like the bullies they are, in a group they can attack and hate,
but left by themselves and forced to face the same hate and scrutiny they have inflicted, they weep! Titty babies, cry babies

3. I openly weep with each Gannon post I see
lol :)

:hi:

I cry because I can't believe our once great country would tolerate such crap as the Bush* white house has delivered and this little diaper boy is a reminder of the crap we've en mass accepted and will continue to be subjected to.

Little twit, my heart bleeds for him.

4. I do, totally!!!
It's what PETULANT CHILDREN do when they don't get their way. It's what sociopaths do when they are captured by the police.

I think Mr. Guckert is starting to realize that he is in a VERY TOUGH SPOT. He's gone from Reich syncophant to target of an investigation, all with the stroke of many keys on blogs across America.

If I were him, I'd be thinking that these bastards are gonna try to hang the Plame leak on him, totally. As I said on a different thread, I'll bet Bob Novak is ignoring his painful hip (that he broke a while back) and leaping for joy, clicking his heels....

I think that Mr. Underwear is starting to realize that he could well be the designated fall guy. If I were him, I'd be VERY FUCKING AFRAID.

16. Or if I was Mr. Guckert
I would be looking to cut a deal and tell the truth.

Obviously, Mr. Guckert's former masters have no need for him now, as a matter of fact they probably look at Guckert as an embarrassment. At best, Guckert will be ignored by his former employers and at worst......well, I won't speculate about that.

If I was Guckert, I would run to the nearest non-repug authority and start spilling my guts just in an effort to save myself.

P.S. We know that Guckert reads DU. If you are reading this Jeff, come in out of the cold before it is too late.

I think his former masters are still very much in control. We'll see.

6. WTF?
Well, what did we expect from this crew? They mock the Purple Heart that a bona fide veteran earned, they mock his service (because they never showed up), they respect only money and power and never bothered to do a damned thing for their country. These people are at the bottom of the barrel. I hope they rot in their shame.

7. These people think that facts are unfair!!!!
If you are Gay, and that is pointed out because you RUN GAY Web sites-that's unfair. Don't fricking play around with gay web sites and advertize and call yourself innocent.

If you have no credentials to be a reporter and someone points that out-that's just so mean.

I suppose he's crying because mommy didn't know he was gay or something. Or because he had to resign because because it was found out that he's a FAKE.

I've had it with hypocrites. These people are ruining our country.

8. Wait- the guy likes Rush Limbaugh, goes on TV and
makes all kinds of underhanded attacks on people with his weasley "questions"... and then he cries because he gets some criticism in return? His critics aren't even making their shit up, as Gannon did.

That hairless wimp can go fuck himself. Or I suppose he could have one of his clients do it for him.

10. Typical Rove response
Edited on Thu Feb-10-05 09:14 PM by DefenseLawyer
"It's a personal attack! The man's family has been threatened! It's an unprofessional personal attack, and it's because he's gay! They should all be ashamed. Anyone still covering this story is a gay bashing attack dog of the crazy communist left". That's the angle CNN took from the beginning with this story. And all you have to do is look at the numerous "Lay Off Gannon" posts here tonight to see just how well it works.

13. But it's so damn transparent!
The response Gannon has had after outing HIMSELF is extreme and phony; yes, Rove's prints are all over it. Gannon is still being coached and handed a daily script. What's next?

14. I'm sure it will continue, because it works
I expect the "My life was ruined just because I am a gay conservative" line to carry the day. When we claim something is a "personal attack" like say the Swift Boat Liars, they say "So what? Fuck you." But our response to such claims is often to reassess and contemplate the social implications and "think about what we have done". Now on one level it is good that we do, because civilized people should care about such things. But in Karl's world it makes us chum in his ocean.

12. Another case of keep ones friends close, keep ones enemies...
...even closer! Hillary can play that very well. I would vote for the lady just on that basis alone, that she could actually remain in the same room with a slug and a slim-ball like Newt Gingrich and still keep her lunch down!
